I knew from the moment Stewarts first email to me dropped in my inbox that this was a wedding I was going to love. They had been recommended to me by their award-winning wedding photographer, Matt Nicholls Photography. Matt had met Louise and Stewart at the IDO wedding fair. A couple of emails back and forth (I would quote them, but some may be offended with the jokes from Stewart haha) and Stewart and Louise had booked me for their intimate Bawtry Hall Wedding.  Although a cheap wedding videographer was one of their wishes, they emphasised that they wanted a wedding videographer who was relaxed and informal to match their day at Bawtry Hall, Yorkshire their impressive Doncaster wedding venue.

Bawtry Hall is nestled between Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire in the idyllic Georgian market town of Bawtry, Doncaster, Yorkshire. Bawtry Hall really does have an intimate and enchanting feel to it with its classic features and stunning outdoor gardens but at the same time a grand and luxurious feel which suits my style for your wedding video perfectly. The staff were just amazing throughout the day and couldn’t have done more for us – including a roast beef sandwich and chips with gravy.

The day started at Stewart and Louise’s family home where it was filled with giggles and nerves-just how it should be. Louise’s nana could not make the full day however was with the beautiful bride and her entourage for the whole morning and her infectious personality and cracking sense of humour with a mix of hilarious bluntness really added to the memorable atmosphere.  Cuts and Co were in charge of the hair and Make-Up for the lovely ladies and what an amazing job they did.

Matt and I then went onto Bawtry Hall and were met by a slightly nervous but still full of jokes and banter groom, Stewart. The venue really is breath-taking and a perfect setting for your dream wedding day. Louise, Amazon and Stewart (watch the film, it will make sense) had clearly worked so hard to add to it with their own personal touches and the whole venue looked beautiful. Chantals Perfect Day Florist provided the stunning flowers for the day.

Yorkshire Toast Master Les, was fantastic and kept Louise, Stewart, all of the guests and us entertained throughout the day with his jokes, inspirational words and anecdotes. Matt Stephens, his guitar and his amazing voice provided the perfect backdrop throughput the day and night for this stunning Yorkshire Wedding.

Louise nearly succeeded in cashing in on her life insurance early but swiftly changed her mind because there were far too many witnesses. She was handed a sword when the time came to cut their beautiful cake made by Cherry Blossom Cakes  and proceeded to cut the cake and not her new husbands neck.

The truly memorable day was capped off perfectly with a spectacular firework show by one of Bawtry Hall’s recommended suppliers Rave Fireworks
